These are some "Frequently Asked Questions" about my comic. These questions were generally asked by my friends in reality (not on the internet), and questions I imagine people might ask about the comic.

Q: Did "Torture Hammock" start out as a web comic?

A: No, I started doing the comics in my free time at work. I'm an English teacher in Japan, so in between classes my workmates would give me the concept word(s) and I'd do it as quick as I could. I still don't consider it a web comic, it's just a comic that happens to be on the internet so my friends back in Australia, and anyone else who's interested, can read them.

Q: Why the name "Torture Hammock"?

A: It was the concept for one my comics, originally the comic had no name, and I didn't want to give it one. But to put it on the internet, I had to give it a name, Torture Hammock was popular with my friends at work, it sounded original and in a way summed up the comic.

Q: Why didn't you want to name it?

A: Because it doesn't deserve a name, I actually didn't want people getting attached to the comic, because basically, it's stupid, violent, and if it had a name, it might get traced back to me...
Although, the book I did of these comics was called "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Q: Errr, there's a book?

A: Yes, it's a self published one, it contained the most popular comics, or at least, all the ones I liked. I even wrote commentary for each comic using a glittery purple pen.

Q: Can we see it?

A: No, no you cannot.

Q: There is one character who keeps poping up, you know, the violent but happy psychopath. What's his name?

A: There is one comic that explores that, but he purposefully doesn't have a name. Once again, if he name, you might get more attached, and knowing the character, that would be wrong, wrong, wrong.
